STSP1009 is a BMW-focused engine spark plug range covering three OE references and two corresponding OEM references currently listed on this page. All listed products use a four-ground-electrode firing-end configuration, providing a clearly defined multi-ground spark plug category for aftermarket distributors and importers.

Two of the listed OE references are currently grouped with BKR6EQUP, while another is listed with FGR7DQI. Although these products share the same four-ground-electrode category, each required item should still be confirmed according to the OE No. and corresponding OEM No. shown in the product list.

For wholesale sourcing, the grouped structure makes it easier to manage related BMW spark plug requirements while keeping each replacement reference separately identified for quotation, inventory control and repeat purchasing.

3 Listed OE References Three BMW OE references are currently included within the STSP1009 product range.
4-Ground Electrode Design All current entries are identified with a four-ground-electrode firing-end structure.
Reference-Based Selection Each required spark plug should be confirmed according to its listed OE and OEM relationship.

How the Four-Ground Electrode Design Works

A four-ground spark plug places four ground electrodes around the center firing area. This provides multiple available discharge paths instead of relying on a single ground-electrode surface throughout the operating life of the plug.

The four ground electrodes do not produce four sparks at the same time. During each ignition event, only one spark is generated. As electrode condition and operating conditions change, the discharge can occur through different available ground-electrode surfaces.

Distributing firing activity across several ground surfaces helps spread electrode wear rather than concentrating it continuously on one location. This is the main practical advantage of the multi-ground structure and should not be described simply as creating a “stronger” or “multiple” spark.

Four Electrodes Do Not Mean Four Simultaneous Sparks

The additional ground electrodes provide alternative firing surfaces. Correct spark plug selection still depends on the required OE/OEM specification, so a four-ground plug should not automatically be replaced by another multi-ground or single-ground design based on appearance alone.

Purchasing Details for Bulk Orders

IGNX supplies STSP1009 for distributors, importers and automotive aftermarket brands. For bulk, mixed-reference or repeat purchasing, buyers should confirm each required spark plug according to the OE No. and corresponding OEM No. already provided in the product list.

OE/OEM Reference Check Confirm each required spark plug using the corresponding reference relationship already listed on the page.
Electrode Configuration Confirm the four-ground-electrode requirement together with the selected OE/OEM reference.
Bulk & Mixed Orders Multiple spark plug and ignition-component references can be submitted together for order confirmation.
OEM & Private Label Product branding, labeling and packaging can be customized according to purchasing requirements.

For quotation, buyers can submit the required OE or OEM reference from the list above together with order quantity, packaging requirements and any private-label information. For mixed-reference or repeat orders, confirming the complete purchasing list before production helps simplify specification checking and inventory management.
