STSP1081 is organized as a multi-reference spark plug range covering five OE and OEM combinations currently listed for Mitsubishi and VW applications. The product group includes different precious-metal electrode configurations rather than one identical spark plug specification.

According to the current product list, the ILFR7H reference uses an iridium-and-platinum configuration, while the listed VW references use double platinum configurations. For aftermarket purchasing, each item should therefore be identified according to its corresponding OE No., OEM No. and material information shown on this page.

5 Listed Reference Groups Multiple OE and OEM combinations are grouped under the STSP1081 product range.
Different Electrode Materials The current list includes iridium-platinum and double platinum configurations.
Reference-Based Selection Material and product reference should be checked together before ordering.

Precious-Metal Firing Surfaces for Wear Control

Spark plug electrodes are repeatedly exposed to electrical discharge and combustion heat. Precious metals such as iridium and platinum are used at firing surfaces because they provide good resistance to electrode wear under these operating conditions.

In the double platinum configurations listed on this page, platinum is used on both sides of the firing gap to help reduce progressive erosion of the working surfaces. The iridium-platinum configuration uses a different precious-metal arrangement and should be treated according to its own listed specification.

These material differences are part of the spark plug design and should not be used as a reason to describe one reference as universally better than another. Correct selection depends on matching the required product specification for the intended replacement.

Purchasing Details for Bulk Orders

IGNX supplies this spark plug range for distributors, importers and automotive aftermarket brands. Because STSP1081 contains several OE/OEM references and more than one electrode material configuration, buyers should confirm each required item against the OE No., OEM No. and material information already listed on this page.

OE/OEM Reference Check Use the corresponding OE and OEM numbers in the product list to confirm the required item.
Material Confirmation Confirm the electrode material shown for each reference before production.
Mixed-Reference Orders Multiple spark plug references can be submitted together for specification and quantity confirmation.
OEM & Private Label Branding, product labeling and packaging can be customized according to purchasing requirements.

For quotation, buyers can submit the required references from the list above together with order quantities, packaging requirements and private-label information. Confirming the complete OE/OEM purchasing list before production is especially useful for mixed-model and repeat orders.
